Benefits of Joining the Center

There are so many activities at our Center that often members are here day after day. (Click here to see our calendar.)

The cost to join is only $35 annually Shelby County residents or $40 outside of Shelby County.

Our members experience many benefits, including:
• Health and wellness based, personalized programs
• A personal trainer and state-of-the-art exercise room
• A variety of group based activities to promote socialization
• Volunteering opportunities

Who can join?
• 50 years old or better
• If your spouse is eligible to join, so can you!

Roxanne Shepherd, of Sidney, joined the Center in 2011 and is serving as a Trustee on the Senior Center Board. When asked what she likes most about being a member, her response was, “the wonderful staff and all the friendly people that are members. I have fun playing pickle ball, doing move N groove and all the various luncheons that they have.”

Dick Eshleman, of Anna, has been a member of the Senior Center of Sidney-Shelby County since 2013.
He is currently serving on the Senior Center Board of Trustees.
When asked what he likes best about the Center his response was, “What’s not to like?
The employees are great, the members are all friendly and there is so much to do!”.
